- How is Avlon Shiksha Niketan different from other institutes?
We at Avlon Shiksha Niketan provide exclusive 3 years BBA degree course in Tourism, Aviation and Hospitality affiliated under Government universities namely, University of North Bengal (NBU) & Panchanan Barma University (PBU).
- I want to become an Air Hostess is there a separate course for it?
Yes, we also offer certified diploma course namely:
SPHATS – Skilled Professisonal in Hospitality, Aviation and Tourism Services for 1.1/2 years.
SPAM- Skilled Professional in Aviation Management for 1 year.
SPTH- Skilled Professional in Tourism & Hospitality for 1 year.
SPGS- Skilled Professional in Ground Services for 9 months.
- What are the courses being offered in your institute?
We offer below courses:
BBA in Tourism, Aviation & Hospitality for 3 years.
SPHATS – Skilled Professional in Hospitality, Aviation and Tourism Services for 1.1/2 years.
SPAM- Skilled Professional in Aviation Management for 1 year.

- What time the classes starts and ends?
The class begins at 9:30am with a duration of 2 hours for each modules. It ends at evening 4:30pm.
- Do you send students for excursion?
Yes, we arrange excursions for students.
- How is the faculty team in Avlon?
All faculties are skilled in their own fields and have industry credentials. They are friendly and helpful.
- Do you provide internship and what is the duration?
Yes. The maximum duration is for three months in hotels and one month in airport.
- Where do you send students for the internship?
We send the students to star properties and airport.
- Do you follow semester system?
Yes, the graduate program is spread in 6 semesters.
- What is the strength of the students?
Around 78 students across four colleges.
- Do you have diploma courses?
Yes, we have diploma courses.
- Do you provide a uniform?
Yes, we provide uniforms.
- From where do I procure my uniform?
Student tailor, Siliguri.
- Do you have hostel facilities?
No, we do not have hostel facilities.
- I have studied in vernacular medium school, will I get admission there?
Yes, you can.
We have separate English classes.
- What are the documents required for the admission?
Class 10 and 12 mark sheet, transfer certificate, migration certificate, Adhar card and passport.
- I am a graduate; can I get admission for diploma course?
Yes, you can.
- What is the admission fee?
Admission fee starts from INR30,000/-
- Where will I get the admission form?
You will get the admission form at www.avlonshikshaniketan.com or you can visit the centre directly. The addresses are provided at Contact Us section of the website.
- How do you track student’s performance?
Internal assessment, class activities, projects.
- What is the admission process?
Pre-screening, Counselling and aptitude test (for BBA/BBM)
- When does admission take place?
Throughout the year for diploma and Degree till July
- Which stream background is eligible for the admission?
All streams.
- What is the fee structure?

- What are the facilities that I can avail?
Industry visits, internships, volunteering in Tourism fair/ festival.
- Do you give placements after completion of the course?
Yes, if the criteria matches.
- Which companies has recruited the students till date?

- What is the minimum attendance percentage required?
90% is the minimum attendance.
